Sean Gough – Owner & Growth Consultant
I started my career in marketing in 2005 helping with the marketing plans and copywriting for a sports catalog. I quickly transitioned to digital marketing through Google Ads (then AdWords) and Social Media before joining one of the large agencies eventually a Search Marketing SaaS company.
Over the course of my career I’ve worked on major enterprise brands such as American Express and Dick’s Sporting Goods as well as small businesses running comic book events. And everything inbetween. I’ve seen just about every challenge you can think of and seen just about every solution.
I started Search Site so that I could bring my skills and experience to the local business owner as I truly find joy in helping people.
And because I wanted to stop commuting 2-hours a day and missing my daughter grow up. 🙂

What is a Growth Consultant?
Growth consultant is a term that myself and a few likeminded individuals in my network use to describe ourselves. Most digital marketing agencies are just trying to sell you services.
We focus on working with business owners to help them “find the holes” in their business and then plug them. Our discovery calls are 100% value based. We just tell you what we see you are missing and give guidance.
After that conversation it is up to you if you want to do it yourself, hire us, or go elsewhere. But you keep the notes.
